It seems that Saaho’s financial troubles are not leaving Prabhas any soon! Prabhas reached unprecedented heights and established himself as a Pan Indian star after the Baahubali series. Riding high on this success, UV Creations (considered close to Prabhas) made Saaho with a whopping Rs. 450 crores. It had a decent run in Hindi while turning out to be a dud in the regional markets.
If information from trade circles are to be believed, Saaho registered losses worth Rs. 250 crores and Prabhas is said to be repaying the debts until now. His latest movie ‘Radhe Shyam’ is also being produced by UV Creations at an estimated budget of Rs. 300 crores in which Rs. 100 crores have already been spent on the shooting. Sources say that Prabhas himself is arranging the remaining Rs. 200 crores for the project to roll on by signing films.
Prabhas has already signed one film with Vyjayanthi Productions, another with T-Series and a third one with Rockline Venkatesh under the direction of Prasanth Neel. His signing spree depicts his angst to fund ‘Radhe Shyam’ and let us hope that circumstances will turn good for Prabhas on the monetary front.
