Cinematographer Santhosh Srinivas turned into a director with Kandireega in 2011. This romantic comedy starring Energetic star Ram and Hansika became a blockbuster. Santhosh’s second film Rabhasa with NTR became a disaster and looted all the fame that this young director amassed from his debut.
Even though Santhosh tried to explain that his health ailment was one of the reasons for the flop of Rabhasa, business-driven industry lent a deaf ear to him. He tried hard to bag the opportunity of Hyper with Ram and it went away without considerable buzz at the box office.
Santhosh is pinning lots of hopes on his upcoming film Alludu Adhurs starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas. He is sure that its success will revive his hold in the industry and is dreaming of making a sequel to his debut film Kandireega.
‘I will approach Ram with the script of Kandireega 2 soon and I am sure that he will get impressed by the proceedings. If he doesn’t give his nod, I will make it with another star’, said Santhosh Srinivas.
