Young director Sujeeth debuted into films with Run Raja Run in 2014. This Sharwanand starrer went on to become a massive hit and minted big money at the box office. Even though everybody thought that Sujeeth will start another film immediately, it never happened. He took a huge gap of five years for his next movie Saaho.
Pan-Indian film Saaho remained a dud in the South Indian market contrary to its superb run in Hindi speaking states. Sujeeth was called by Megastar Chiranjeevi to direct the remake of Lucifer firstly. This young filmmaker failed to impress Chiru with his script and was replaced by Vinayak eventually.
Speculations about Sujeeth directing Chatrapathi’s Hindi remake starring Bellamkonda Srinivas are dismissed by him personally. He is said to have met Gopichand recently and narrated a script to him. Gopi who is experiencing a lean phase in his career lately has given his nod reportedly. Sujeeth will start the film after Gopichand wraps up his portions in Sampath Nandi’s film.
