TENET mints money even during the pandemic time

We all know that the rampage of COVID-19 virus is not fully over yet. The movie industry has been one of the worse hit across the globe. But like a ray of light in the midst of a cloud infested sky, a movie named ‘TENET’ is reviving the hopes of filmmakers the world over. ‘TENET’ which was released on August 26th in UK and September 3rd in USA and subsequently in other countries went on to collect $307.1 million. It is directed by Christopher Nolan and is yet to be released in our country.

‘TENET’ was released during the heights of Corona pandemic, thanks to the guts of its makers. It collected a meagre $53 million during its first week which translates into Rs. 387crores. The plot revolves around a secret agent and his ‘time manipulation’ technique to prevent World War 3. Hollywood star Tom Cruise helped the team in promoting the film even though he was not part of it. Actors such as John David Washington, Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki played important roles in ‘TENET’ which was produced by ‘Warner Bros. Pictures’.

It was made with a budget of $200 million and it has reportedly entered the profit zone now. There are countries like us where ‘TENET’ is yet to be released. The movie is positioned well to collect more after theatres open.
