Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi played a memorable role in the career of Young Rebel Star Prabhas. This 2005 action drama went on to become a massive success and transformed Prabhas into a major action star. It is now being remade in Hindi introducing Bellamkonda Srinivas to Bollywood.
Mass director V.V Vinayak is roped in to direct this action drama which is produced by Dr.Jayantilal Gada. Vinay is well-known to make super hit remakes as he tweaks the original scripts without losing the soul. His earlier remakes such as Tagore and Khaidi No.150 became more successful than their original counterparts.
Bellamkonda Srinivas has a huge craze in Hindi audiences thanks to his dubbed movies on Youtube. Even his flop movies turn to be super hits on the video-sharing website with millions of views. This made the makers introduce him to Bollywood with a mega project and what could have been better than Chatrapathi!
This remake is a make or break project for V.V Vinayak as he is desperate for a hit to revive his ailing career.
