Creative director Sukumar’s Pushpa would have been finished by now if not for lockdown. Even though Allu Arjun and Sukku wanted to start it immediately after Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, the pandemic played spoilsport with their plans. Its shooting started recently in Maredumilli forest in East Godavari district contrary to the locales in Kerala where the schedule was planned initially.
After a few days of shoot, a few unit members contracted the virus which made the makers stall its shoot. Bunny reached Hyderabad and left for Udaipur to attend Niharika’s wedding. According to his close quarters, Bunny asked Sukumar to start the shoot immediately and shift the filming location to Hyderabad.
Stylish Star reportedly suggested the makers finish the Hyderabad portions first before venturing into outdoor locations. Sukku and the team are currently in the task of shifting all the props to Hyderabad now.
