KCR might have gone to Delhi and met Prime Minister Modi as part of his strategy, but his entire focus is to curb the growth of BJP in Telangana. At a time when he was chalking out plans post the defeat in Dubbaka and Greater shock, Nomula Narsimhaiah passed away. Discussion among the public is what will be the fate of the party in the bypoll?
Now KCR has shifted his focus on Nagarjuna Sagar. Everyone thought that one from Nomula’s family would get the ticket but after the experience in Dubbaka, KCR wants to have a strong candidate. He is none other than Gutha Sukhender Reddy. Earlier, he had won as MP now he is MLC and he is financially strong. KCR believes that if Gutha is selected, there are more chances of victory.
However, Minister Jagadish Reddy is said to be against this and is pressurizing CM not to field him. It is said that if Gutha wins from here, he is likely to get the minister’s post and in such a situation Jagadish Reddy would have to forego his post hence he is said to be opposing.
Whatever KCR decides is final. That means Gutha will be the candidate. On the other hand, Revanth Reddy is likely to be given the post of PCC and in that case, Jana Reddy is likely to get the BJP ticket for his son. Though he will be in Congress, he will be sending his son into the BJP and he is likely to be the candidate. However, another BJP leader is strongly trying for a ticket and also campaigning in the constituency. If Revanth Reddy enters into the field, it will be a three-cornered contest. In other words, Gutha Sukhender Reddy is finalized for the seat.
