Telangana MAUD Minister and the Working President of the TRS, Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao suggested that work done in the country should always benefit the public, instead of always focusing on making promises in elections. Why is the bullet train project only for Gujarat? Doesn’t Hyderabad qualify? KTR questioned the Centre, adding that Telangana contributes the highest revenue. He was addressing the CII annual meeting at ITC Kakatiya in Begumpet. He alleged that the assurances given by the Center to the state are not being implemented and questioned as to whom they must ask for an answer. KTR even lambasted the Centre by asking how the companies would come up with ‘Make in India’ by raising import tariffs.

Totally unfair and unjust
KTR said that the BJP government at the centre was doing injustice to Telangana at every step. He said that Warangal Railway was allocated 150 acres for a coach factory instead of the needed 60 acres, but to date, no coach factory was built. The TRS leader reminded the Centre saying that not a single industrial zone had been allotted to the state despite the ambitious ‘Make In India’ initiative and went on to say that ITIR corridor cancellation was a grave injustice to Telangana.
