As the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election draws near, the parties are busy campaigning. The mention of fake votes is also popularly coming to the fore. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections. Some events are taking place as part of the longer campaigns. The incident of stones being pelted when former CM and AP opposition leader Chandrababu held a meeting also caused a stir in the state.
Top leader’s campaign
The ruling YSRCP says it will win this election with a majority of 5 lakh votes. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is campaigning in support of his party’s candidate Panabaka Lakshmi while the party’s top leaders are campaigning in support of the party’s candidate Gurumurthy. The party leaders and some leaders from Telangana are also campaigning on behalf of BJP candidate Ratnaprabha. The parties are trying to hold on without giving up any chance. If all this goes up, the BJP and TDP made sensational allegations a few days ago.
Duplicate voter cards
The BJP and TDP have made a sensational allegation that the ruling party is making fake voter cards to win the Tirupati by-election. It is alleged that Aadhaar cards are also being used for 2 lakh fake voters. Here is another feature .. BJP and TDP are making allegations in this regard. The question also arises as to how far it is possible for the opposition party to create fake voter cards.
BJP national secretary Satya Kumar said the YCP was conspiring to send another person to replace him even if the local voter did not turn up to cast his vote. It has been announced that a letter will be written to the Central Home Department and the Election Commission to this effect. At the same time, BJP state spokesperson Samanchi Srinivas alleged that it was useless for them to seize fake voter cards and that they were doing so in areas where the voting percentage was low.

Fake voters caught
TDP also responded on the same issue. The party leaders Kalva Srinivasan and National General Secretary Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy alleged that fake voter cards were being heavily fabricated and conspired to use them to win over volunteers. They commented that catching fake voters in the last municipal and municipal elections had gone without result. TDP MPs on Tuesday briefed the CEC on the issue of fake voters and asked them to take appropriate action. On the whole, the issue of fake voter cards has once again come to the fore in the Tirupati by-elections. There are allegations that fake voter cards were seized in the last local body elections in several districts including Vijayanagar. Even now there is a debate going on as to what is the purpose of holding elections if such a situation arises.
5 lakh majority
TDP leaders are making some comments on the same topic. Commenting that there are similar reasons behind the YSRCP saying that they will win with a majority of 5 lakh before the finalization of the candidates. But the situation has changed and the YSRCP is saying that people are looking towards the TDP no matter how many crossroads it takes. If you look at the last election .. Balli Durga Prasad won from the YSRCP in the 2019 general election. YSRCP also won here in 2014. In the 2019 elections, a total of 16,50,453 votes were cast for the 13 lakh votes. The YSRCP candidate got 7,22,877 votes while the Telugu Desam candidate got 4,94,501 votes.
The YCP won a majority of 2,28,376 votes. In the same election, the BJP got 25,781 votes, the Congress candidate 24,039 votes, the Janasena – backed BSP 20,971 votes and the BJP 16,125 votes. There is also talk in the TDP that the situation has changed since then, but there is no reason to say that a majority of 5 lakh will come. On the whole, the ruling party has to respond to the allegations of the opposition rather than the ruling party. There is a debate going on that the Election Commission has not responded to this allegation so far.
