Shruthi Haasan is one of the top heroines in the country and is a big name especially in the south. She was not getting any big offers in her career and was bogged down a bit. But Pawan signed her first for Vakeel Saab and now she is back in the game.
In Vakeel Saab, Shruthi Haasan is doing an extended cameo but producers, Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor are paying her full salary which is a superb gesture from the makers and has made the actress very happy.
Vakeel Saab is a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster, Pink. In the original, there is no such role for a heroine. As this is a commercialized version of Pink, the makers have written a new character, which will be portrayed by Shruti Haasan.
