Megastar Chiranjeevi is still reigning as the numero uno hero of Tollywood in the senior lot. He is currently on a signing spree and has already lined two remakes after Acharya. But strangely, Chiru is feeling the heat as tinsel town’s top babes are not ready to play sister to him in both the films.
Mega team has fixed Kollywood director Mohan Raja to helm the megaphone for the Telugu remake of Lucifer. While Manju Warrier played the sister to Mohanlal in the original, the team is reportedly eyeing on Lady Superstar Nayanthara for this role in Telugu. It is highly doubtful whether Nayan agrees to this role as her kitty is filled up with other commitments.
Coming to the remake of Vedhalam, Meher Ramesh contacted Sai Pallavi for the sister’s role to Chiru and she rejected it. Industry sources say that Keerthy Suresh has given her nod for the role but we have to wait for an official announcement from the makers to confirm this news.
Nayan or Keerthy are in top form presently and there is every chance that they might think that playing sister to Chiru may affect their future prospects. That too, Mega fans may find it annoying to see Nayanthara essaying Chiranjeevi’s sister character as they have appeared as a pair in previous films. We will only get clarity on this issue after Chiru finishes Acharya.
