Actor Sandeep Nahar of ‘MS Dhoni’ and ‘Kesari’ fame allegedly committed suicide at his Mumbai residence. An initial investigation by police reports that the actor might’ve resorted to the extreme step due to family-related issues. A Facebook video which was uploaded by the deceased showed that he was frustrated over the constant fights with his spouse. It is learnt that the actor on Monday was found lying in an unconscious state in his flat and that it is his wife (Kanchan) and friends that rushed him to the nearby hospital. However, he was declared dead on arrival at the SVR Hospital. Police have registered a case and an investigation is underway, while Nahar’s post-mortem report is awaited.
Police have also stated that the actor in the FB video prior to his death had mentioned “politics, unprofessional functioning and lack of empathy in Bollywood”. It is known that Sushant Singh Rajput who played the titular role in the ‘MS Dhoni’ biopic too had committed suicide last year.
