Telugu sensation Prabhas is following his footsteps in winning fans from across continents. Prabhas had earlier been making a film every two years winning millions of fans beyond the Telugu-speaking states. But now, Prabhas is signing several movies in a hurry and eager to release them soon. Birdie says the primary reason behind this decision is that Prabhas has earned a legion of fans in countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Malaysia and he does not want to keep them waiting for long.
Magnum opus Baahubali 1& 2 starring Prabhas earned Rs. 8 crores in Nepal which is a record of sorts. Prabhas-starrer Saaho earned Rs. 12 crores in Nepal becoming the highest grossing movie ever in that country. His movies are gaining big market shares in other Asian countries as well. Big Producers from not just Tollywood, but Bollywood also, are queuing up to sign Prabhas. Despite the adulation and craze he is receiving, the actor remains grounded and is being very selective while choosing his movies. Recently, Prabhas’s 22nd film was announced with the title ‘Adi Purush’ based on the epic Ramayana. This is Prabhas’s first direct Hindi movie which will be dubbed into Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
