There are several fears and doubts in the minds of citizens over Coronavirus vaccination, this is also being speculated as to the reason behind many not coming forward to inoculate themselves. In a bid to dispel all these fears, the Centre has released an official count of all those who have been vaccinated. As per the latest figures, it can be estimated that the vaccination drive is going on a full swing pan India.
Over 20 lakh people have been vaccinated:

As per the quantification released by the Indian Government, a total of 23,28,779 people have been vaccinated till yesterday (January 27). The Government also informed that on Wednesday alone 2,99,299 people were vaccinated. It is also to be noted that the number of people who were recovering from the pandemic is the highest in India with a 97% recovery rate. Not only that, in union territories and all 31 states the number of Covid19 cases being treated are less than 5000. Till date, the overall number of Covid cases are 1,07,01,193. The number of those who recovered are 1,03,73,606 (96.94%), those being treated for the disease are 1,73,740 (1.62%) and the death toll is 1,53,847 (1.44%).
