Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has expressed dissatisfaction over the attendance of members at parliamentary sessions. Ten per cent of the members did not even attend the joint sittings. He even advised them to think about why they are being sent to the houses. The inaugural function of the Best Parliamentarian Nookala Narotham Reddy Centenary Ceremony was held at the SES Auditorium in Begumpet, Hyderabad. Venkaiah Naidu, who was present as the chief guest, expressed his displeasure over the behaviour of the MPs.

Venkaiah Naidu hailed the services of Nookala Narotham Reddy as immortal. He lauded his struggle against the Nizam’s tyrannical rule. He was also reminded that he was proficient in music. He even expressed that today’s generation is ignoring Indian culture and traditions. Corona said the pandemic is shrinking the world. Everyone is advised to be vigilant. He said the central and state governments were acting with foresight as the cases of Coronavirus have witnessed a surge.
