Tinsel town is a place of constant ‘buzz’ wherein one issue or the other keeps hitting the headlines, mostly for the wrong reasons. Before forgetting the ugly ‘casting-couch’, drugs issue hogged the limelight shaking the entire Indian film industry. Though the issue sparked in Bollywood, it spread its tentacles to Sandalwood first and is now stirring Tollywood with the inclusion of Rakul Preet Singh’s name.
Recently, Kannada B-grade actress Ragini Dwivedi and ‘Bujjigadu’ fame Sanjjanaa Galrani were arrested by the Bengaluru Police in connection with the drug probe. A special court in Bengaluru has even rejected the bail plea of both the actresses. Considering the seriousness of the crime, sources say that granting bail to these actresses will not be possible as of now.
Police have even recovered the data deleted by both these heroines from their mobile phones and were shocked by the ‘stuff’ in them. Officials have reportedly found obscene photos and videos of several actresses and are now investigating about how the accused used them for their benefits.
