Vijay is currently the highest-paid actor in Tamil Nadu, whose craze has no bounds among the masses. But his decision to enter politics has become a topic of debate for Tamils.
Vijay is known for releasing feelers about his entry into politics during the audio launches of his films. His fans went haywire about his speech during Sarkar’s audio launch wherein he vowed to eradicate corruption if he becomes the CM of the state. While Kamal Haasan has already entered into the political arena with his Makkal Needhi Maiam, Rajinikanth cleared the air by announcing that he has dropped the idea. We have to wait and see, whether the political entry of Vijay has anything to do with Kamal’s alliance with another political party and Rajini’s reluctancy. It is known that Vijay’s Mersal had cues pertaining to politics.
Film career
Vijay’s latest outing Master is in the cans for a while due to the lockdown. This Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial will be released either for Diwali or November 24th or Sankranti. While Vijay plays the role of a professor in Master, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is seen in the role of a gangster. Lokesh had directed Kaithi with Karthi earlier.
After Master, Vijay has given his nod to act under the direction of Soorarai Pottru fame Sudha Kongara. Since he doesn’t have any commitments post this, he mulls on political entry. If sources are to be believed, Vijay’s party name is titled People’s Movement Party and would be announced soon. As the election date is nearing in Tamil Nadu, TLN wishes Vijay best of luck for his political career.
