Nandamuri Balakrishna is an actor who selects his directors based on his compatibility with them rather than their track record. He teamed up with Sriwass for Dictator earlier in 2016. Even though it became a box office failure, Sriwass succeeded in showcasing Balayya in a stylish makeover.
Kona Venkat who acted as a screenwriter for several hit films penned the story and screenplay for this film. After all these years, Kona has reportedly readied a script for Balayya again and narrated it to him. Balayya has given his nod to it and Sriwass will be helming the megaphone for this film which is going to roll on from 2022.
Balakrishna is currently acting in Boyapati’s high voltage action drama tentatively named Monarch. It is their hat-trick combination and Boyapati’s previous films with Balayya like Simha and Legend created box office records. Sriwass’s film will go on to the sets after Balayya finishes his present commitments.
