We all aware that revolutionary poet Varavara Rao was arrested in the Bheema Koregoan conspiracy case. Tirupati YSRCP MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy who is said to be a sympathizer of the radicals since long wrote a letter to facilitate Rao’s release due to his old age and health. This letter is said to be bringing new troubles to YS Jagan as BJP leaders are taking this issue seriously.
Varavara Rao has been denied bail from long as the grounds on which he got arrested involves a conspiracy to eliminate PM Modi. He was even treated for his ailments in Mumbai recently following the orders from the court. Various Maoist sympathizers started to write letters to the Central Government to release him and Bhumana’s letter among them raised eyebrows since he is an MLA in the ruling YSRCP Govt.
BJP’s AP state in-charge Sunil Deodhar considered this letter as a serious violation on the part of YSRCP led State Government. He tweeted on Saturday asking the CM, “If you haven’t suspended your MLA who has written a letter in the support of Varavara Rao who conspired to eliminate the PM of India still, Can we suppose that you agree with his wish? Take immediate action on Bhumana and say your apology to the people”.
Even though Karunakar Reddy wrote the letter in personal capacity, linking it to Jagan is considered a ploy to embarrass the CM and show him that BJP can be a good friend and foe at the same time.
