The BJP has sharpened its attack on the TRS in Telangana with its unique political strategy. With the conditions favouring the saffron party in the state, the BJP is trying its best to rope in influential leaders from other parties including small leaders. On a daily basis, the BJP is holding talks with various political leaders and persuading them to join the party. Also, political leaders of various parties are keen on joining the BJP following the wonderful performance of the latter in the GHMC elections. On the other hand, the BJP says that many leaders have queued up expressing their willingness to join the party.
Operation Akarsh
The BJP is going all guns blazing at the ruling TRS by highlighting its failures and trying to corner them by targeting several issues at once. In this scenario, the BJP is trying to rake up farmer issues in the state and has devised a special strategy right from mandal to district and then to shift the focus to Hyderabad. Apart from highlighting the CM KCR led government of cheating farmers, the BJP is trying to tell the public that the schemes being provided by the Central government are not being implemented in the state.
Full support to employees
The BJP even vented its anger on the TRS government for failing to give the PRC and DA to employees, and for not considering teachers and pensioners. Efforts are also on by the saffron party to bring together those employees who are dissatisfied with the TRS government for having failed to solve their issues. Now, the BJP has also planned to demand a ban on cow slaughter in Telangana, similar to Karnataka’s anti-cow slaughter bill. Having warned of strict action against those slaughtering cows, the BJP also has plans to introduce cow vigilantes in the state. By targeting the TRS government on the above issues, the BJP looks to win public sentiment and put a check to the single-handed rule of the TRS. Only, time will tell how effectively the BJP manages to tackle the TRS government.
