Stylish star Allu Arjun’s first Pan-Indian outing Pushpa is based on the red sandal smuggling which is prevalent in Seshachalam forests. Creative director Sukumar has fixed Tamil hero Arya for the antagonist’s role after considering the names of Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Nara Rohit, and Anil Kapoor.
Both Bunny and Arya acted in Gunasekhar’s Varudu in 2010 which became a disaster. Even though the rivalry between both the young actors worked out, Guna’s lackluster taking failed to ring cash registers at the box office. The film industry is full of sentiments and the makers generally don’t opt for reprising the failure combinations.
But Bunny seems not to be shaken by such things and gave his nod to lock horns with Arya once again in Pushpa. We have to praise the guts of this Allu hero for his daring move. TLN wishes both Bunny and Arya all the very best!
