The employees have now intervened in the controversy of the government versus State Election Commission in AP, demanding the SEC to postpone the elections. There are criticisms over this demand from the employees. The issue of election is between the Government, SEC and High Court but the employees have deliberately entered into the scene and supported the government. Immediately after the Election Commission announced the schedule for election, the employees expressed their dissent against the SEC. Citing the pandemic, the employees stated that they cannot do duties in such a situation. There are reasons for the employees siding with the government.
Police Officers Association Narreddy Chandrashekar Reddy reacted sharply to the comments of former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, wherein the latter claimed that the former has resorted to corruption in Police Housing Society. The corruption issue came into light during TDP rule, since then Narreddy had been totally opposed to Chandrababu Naidu. Now for some crucial leaders of AP employee’s association, there is a totally another angle. An official had an association with the ruling party and since then he has been showing his supremacy. In one sentence, he is a YSRCP representative for several employees’ organizations because he has been uploading posts against then CM Chandrababu, and in favour of YSRCP on Facebook.
He lives in Hyderabad. Since he is an employee leader, there is no hard rule on attendance. His wife Shwetha… since 2012 she has been working in Musheerabad constituency for the ruling party. There were efforts to make her contest in the 2014 elections but it was not successful as she was the wife of a government employee, which are against the rules. As there was more service left, he decided not to resign. The employee who supported the ruling party and made posts against Chandrababu from 2012, deleted all the posts after the TDP came into power. After his party came into power, he is trying to colour the employees in the party colour.

· In the case of the Capital Decentralization Bill, the leader of the union also unanimously commented that the Chairman of the Legislative Council did not follow the rules in the matter of the Legislative Council. He also spoke personally about the chairman. He also said how it will be if the Home Minister is asked to arrest Yanamala at the same time.
· Many Revenue employees have been affected by the Covid due to the celebrations held by the MLA in Srikalahasti. Some died. However, the union leaders did not notice this.

The Amravati Parirakshana Samithi has filed a case in the High Court against the shifting of Amaravati capital. The committee said that the secretariat’s employees were also opposing the move. The association leader was upset with this and got implied in court. They talked in the sense that they were not opposed to the moving.
Doubts are being expressed as to whether the Central Election Commission will take a decision on the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election and give a notification.
The employees are agitated that one community was showing supremacy in AP Associations. The employees are maintaining silence because they are afraid that they would be put to loss if they speak against… even as they recall that their co-employee was targeted in Secretariat.
