It is clear that the rate of Covid19 cases pan India witnessed a drastic decline when compared to lakh cases being recorded in just a single day. Especially, in both the Telugu states Corona cases have significantly decreased. Initially, when cases in Telangana were stable, the situation worsened in Andhra Pradesh with the sudden spurt in the number of positive cases, adding to it the death toll also caused a major worry. However, with the conditions turning normal pan India, still in some states the Covid concerns continue. Now, with 25,153 fresh cases being registered on Saturday, India surpassed the one crore mark with total cases touching 1,00,04,599.
Cases and recoveries
The total Covid cases pan India currently is 1,00,04,599 of which 95,50,712 cases have recovered from the deadly infection, which means the recovery rate is 95.46%. Now, the active cases in the country are 3,08,751. From the total cases, 3.09% have been registered as active cases. On the other hand, the death toll due to Coronavirus has touched 1,45,136 which is 1.45% of the total Covid cases as per official figures.

States need to remain vigilant
In India, Maharashtra continues in the top spot for Covid cases and deaths, with 18,88,767 cases having been registered till date. The number of recovered cases are 17,78,722 and the number of actives cases are currently at 61,471. While 48,574 people lost their lives due to the deadly pandemic in the state. Of all Indian states, Jharkhand is in a better condition with relatively few deaths. Among those states in the danger zone, Andhra Pradesh is in 3rd position. However, with the situation turning better day by day, there is a sign of optimism.
