Megastar Chiranjeevi finally started shooting for Acharya recently. He will finish it as soon as possible and move on to the sets of Vedhalam’s Telugu remake directed by Meher Ramesh. Its pre-production work was already completed and the team is waiting for Chiru’s entry.
Contrary to the reports stating that this remake will start after March, the team has already started filming it. The team has reportedly shot the montage sequences in Durga temple in Kolkata during Dussehra. We all know that Vedhalam’s remake is penned in the backdrop of Kolkata.
This film is made by 14 Reels Plus banner and Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh is playing the role of Chiru’s sister in it. Meher Ramesh who sports a disastrous record with films like Kantri, Billa, Shakti, and Shadow is trying his luck with the remake of Vedhalam. TLN hopes that Megastar will gift him that elusive hit for which he is longing for years.
