The BJP which is trying to utilize every opportunity it is getting to show its presence in the coastal Andhra. As part of this, the party has included former government whip, TDP senior leader Chipurpally former MLA Gadde Babu Rao and former Gajapathinagaram MLA, former TDP Minister Padala Aruna into the party. With the same spirit and enthusiasm, the party is trying to create disturbances in the family of TDP politburo member Kala Venkatrao.
TDP politburo member Kala Venkatrao’s brother, Regidi Mandal Parishad former president Kimidi Ramakrishnam Naidu’s brother Vinay Kumar recently met BJP AP Chief Somu Veerraju in Visakha. Vinay Kumar said that he had met Veerraju along with former minister Padala Aruna on the BJP’s request to join the party. He said that Veerraju had asked him to join the party and added that they would take a decision after discussing with the party leaders. Earlier, BJP leaders Gadde Babu Rao and Reddy Pavani had met the leaders during their visit to Regidi. The speculations are rife that with this meeting Vinay Kumar may join BJP. Vinay Kumar is presently heading TDP Regidi mandal unit.
