After tasting an industry hit with Magadheera in 2009, Rajamouli made a strategic move by filming a comedy entertainer Maryada Ramanna with Sunil. This film catapulted Sunil’s status in the industry to the next level and made him a lead actor. Saloni Aswani played the lead role in this film and their chemistry on the screens was well appreciated in 2010.
V.N Aditya’s debut film Manasantha Nuvve became a blockbuster and Sunil’s comedy track in it proved to be a laugh riot. In fact, Sunil’s humor played an important role in the success of the film and the two share a great rapport to date. After all these years, Aditya is making a film with Sunil and Saloni is playing the female lead in it.
Aditya has reportedly bought the Maryada Ramanna’s pair together to recreate the magic once again. Saloni’s career never took off in Tollywood and her last notable character was a supporting role in Venky’s Bodyguard. Even though Aditya thought of releasing this film on the OTT platform, he changed his decision as theatres are slowly resuming. This yet to be titled entertainer is gearing up for the summer release.
