We all know that SP Balasubrahmanyam made his debut as a playback singer with ‘Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna’, a Telugu film which released in 1967. He was a sprightly 20-years-old at that time, when he was given the first chance to sing by his guru SP Kodandapani. The film was produced by veteran actor and comedian Padmanabham. SPB sang the song ‘Emiyee Vinta Moham’ along with P Susheela, K Raghuramayya and PB Sreenivas.
This picture shows a 20-year-old Balu and check out how thin he was! Along with SPB, we can also find Padmanabham who is seen congratulating him. His guru and music director SP Kodandapani is also seen placing his hand around Balu’s shoulder.
