Malayalam young hero Tovino Thomas got injured on the sets of his upcoming film ‘Kala’. He was admitted into a private hospital in Kochi on Wednesday due to severe stomach pain. Tovino received a kick on his stomach near his liver during a fight sequence causing excruciating pain. Even though the actor tried to ignore the pain, he was admitted to the hospital immediately. Doctors said he was bled internally due to the blow.
Tovino was put in ICU and will remain in observation for the coming 72 hours. He played negative characters in the beginning of his career before turning hero. He acted as villain in Dhanush’s ‘Maari-2’. Tovino became known to Tollywood audiences through his dubbed films ‘Forensic’ and ‘And the Oscar goes to’ which were released on ‘Aha’ OTT platform.
