Nara Lokesh, the TDP MLC and National General Secretary had a miraculous escape in a remote area of AP’s Siddapuram village. The TDP supremo’s scion was driving a tractor as part of his campaign to interact with flood-affected farmers in Siddapuram village of Akividu in West Godavari district. Due to heavy water flow, Lokesh was unable to drive the tractor through, causing the vehicle to slip into the Uppataru canal.
Luckily, MLA Manthana Ramraju who was beside Lokesh at the time managed to steer the vehicle at the right moment and helped avert a major accident.
