The drugs case is shaking the foundations of Bollywood now. Even though only lesser known faces were arrested until now in this regard, sources say that a massive storm is brewing inside. It implies that there will be arrests of bigwigs shortly and NCB officials are working hard to build a water-tight case. They have reportedly unearthed loads of drugs in the residence of Karan Johar’s assistant Kshiteej.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide investigation had led to the drug probe and NCB officials are not in a mood to leave it any soon. Recently, Manjinder Singh Sirsa of ‘Shiromani Akali Dal’ filed a complaint about a party thrown by Karan Johar and the celebrities who attended it. He claimed Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Varun Dhawan consumed drugs in that party. NCB’s raid on Kshitij’s house is said to be tightening the noose around Karan who is known for throwing lavish parties.
Kshitij Prasad works as an executive producer in ‘Dharma Productions’. He is said to have revealed important information that led to NCB’s subsequent raids where drugs were uncovered. NCB is already enquiring Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika Padukone. Along with film stars, members of the TV fraternity are also said to be involved in this case as NCB has summoned Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar. Some media outlets are commenting that Mumbai Police is trying to protect the bigwigs in this case. Let’s wait and see what Deepika, Shraddha, Sara and Rakul’s enquiry reveals.
