Rajamouli’s Baahubali series made Prabhas a national star and he is perfectly using it to step ahead in his career. He made Saaho under his own banner UV Creations even though he was flooded with crazy offers from Tollywood and Bollywood producers.
Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam is also bankrolled by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies which made the Tollywood producers do nothing but wait. Dil Raju who made Mr. Perfect with Prabhas has pitched a story for him long ago along with director Surender Reddy and is waiting for his nod.
Tollywood’s top production house Mythri Movie Makers wanted to helm a movie with Prabhas under the direction of Prashanth Neel which hasn’t worked. Except for Vyjayanthi Movies which is producing Nag Ashwin’s science fiction, Prabhas is currently not teaming with any producer from TFI.
Even Adipurush is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar from T-Series and Salaar by Hombale Films of Sandalwood. According to confidential sources, Prabhas is charging a hefty paycheque of Rs.80crore per movie and his flicks need not less than Rs.300crore as budget. As this is not a viable amount for Tollywood producers, Darling is said to be staying away from them. Money makes many things! Isn’t it?
