MLA Kannababu, as always, wanted to intimidate people in his own style but unfortunately, it backfired with the public lambasting him. The YSRCP MLA from Elamanchili as part of the election campaign ahead of the Gram Panchayat polls intimidated the public saying if they were not voted to power, they will not get government schemes and their requests will not be heard by anyone. The public unable to bear Kannababu’s provocative speech that the ruling party would still be in power irrespective of other party’s win led the people to revolt against him.
The unprecedented response by the irritated public left the YSRCP MLA in shock. However, the MLA’s gunmen swiftly acted in time to guard the former against the public anger. People raised slogans against the MLA for his intimidating and rude behaviour and the MLA sensing trouble fled from the spot.
