Tasteful director Hanu Raghavapudi is experiencing a lean phase in his career with back-to-back flops of Lie and Padi Padi Leche Manasu. He is currently gearing up for his upcoming film with Mahanati fame Dulquer Salmaan.
This love story needs two beauties to star opposite Dulquer and Hanu finalized Pooja Hegde for one role. After extensive scouting, this Andala Rakshasi director zeroed in on Raashi Khanna for the second heroine’s character. Even though Tollywood sources speculated that Rashmika Mandanna was finalized for one of the roles earlier, Hanu dismissed this scoop.
Raashi is said to be extremely excited about this offer as she is given a meaty role that changes the proceedings on the screen. Dulquer will be seen in the shoes of an Army Officer in this yet to be titled film which is set in the 60’s era. This feel-good love story will move on to the sets in January and simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
