Pelli Sandadi which was released in 1996 became a classic hit that catapulted Friendly Star Srikanth to the top brass. This musical romance proved that legendary director K.Raghavendra Rao’s Midas touch can transform ordinary actors into stars. After all these years KRR is helming a sequel for it named Pelli SandaD with Srikanth’s son Roshan.
Raghavendra Rao’s assistant Gowri Ronanki is directing this flick while the veteran director will be supervising her. Malavika Nair is roped in to play the female lead in Pelli SandaD. The latest update says that Srikanth is playing a short but pivotal role in the film which becomes the reason for a major twist in the story. The scenes between Roshan and Srikanth are going to be a major highlight for the film according to the makers. M.M Keeravani is composing the tunes for this sequel.
