Following the Central Government’s decision to open the theatres from October 15th, theatres in AP were opened from Thursday. Even though all the exhibitors followed the mandatory guidelines to keep the infection at bay, there are hardly 3 to 4 members in each theatre. INOX in Visakhapatnam got a meagre collection of Rs. 1500 on the opening day and most of the multiplexes in the major cities have seen collections less than Rs.1000. Four members were present for the screening of Bheeshma in Screen No. 6 at Varun INOX in Vizag and the total collection amounted to Rs. 632. The first show collections in the same screen were Rs. 948 and the net collection for the total day of Bheeshma stood at Rs.1239. Exhibitors and distributors were flabbergasted by these amounts and are worried about the future.
