Issues related to family honour and love have been on for long. We have also heard of several incidents related to honour killings by families. However, this film is unique as instead of dealing with honour killing, questions a lover’s manhood. Now, in this case, Kotagiri Sesha Rayanam (Vijay Sethupathi) is the father of Bebamma (Krithi Shetty) who doesn’t like his only daughter to fall in love with Asirwadam aka Asi (Panja Vaishnav Tej) who’s from the fishing community. Though the film story is a normal one, the makers have totally transformed the film for the current generation.
Highlights
Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) music stands as the highlight and gives impetus to the story, especially ‘Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram’ and ‘Jala Jala Jalapaatham Nuvvu’ songs stand out. It can be said that the soundtrack of the film has lured many to theatres. On the other hand, Shamdat’s cinematography has taken the film to the next level and Editor Navin Nooli too does a good job.
