Violence erupted in the fourth phase of elections in West Bengal. Four killed in CISF firing on riots in Cooch Behar. Prime Minister Modi was furious with Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over the incident. He expressed profound sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives in the incident. Strict measures will be taken
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the Election Commission to take stern action against those responsible for the Cooch Behar incident. Modi said such violent policies were not allowed. Modi warned that tips such as inciting violence, provoking the masses against the security forces and disrupting the polling process will not protect you.
