Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has tested positive for Coronavirus for the second time. He was earlier admitted to the RUIA hospital for the infection in August. His son Bhumana Abhinay Reddy has also been infected.
Though, several YSRCP leaders who tested positive for the virus preferred top corporate hospitals in Hyderabad, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy got admitted to the local government hospital in the pilgrim city. Sadly, the MLA who recovered from the virus attack a month earlier and tested negative was discharged from the hospital. YSRCP workers and followers of the MLA have wished him a speedy recovery.

Bhumana Karunakar Reddy known for his proactive political life had been actively involved in large public events unfazed by the pandemic. The MLA even took part in the last rites of those people who died having consumed sanitizers. The minister even played a prominent role in raising donations towards the medical treatment of a sick beggar, by seeking alms along with him in the streets of Tirupati.
