All Kapus have now united following a call given by Appa Rao. They demanded an apology from the MLA and supported Enugu Venkateswara Rao. It is certain now that the Kapus would go away from YSRCP.
Nuzivid to Vijayawada
The agitation by the Kapu leaders to include Nuzivid into Vijayawada has intensified. The YSRCP MLA attacking a leader of the movement has led to conflicts between Kapus and YSRCP functionaries. Venkateswara Rao said that the attack was shameful and declared that they would take up state-wide agitation if the YSRCP leaders do not apologize. They alleged that crores of rupees of Kapu Corporation were being diverted to the Amma Vodi program. They also alleged that severe injustice was done to the Kapus in YSRCP rule.
Kapus moving out from YSRCP
The Kapus are moving away from YSRCP in Krishna district. They are angry at the government for ignoring the Kapus even though several welfare schemes and encouragement have been given only to those leaders who are in the ruling party. Enugu Venkateswara Rao said that the YSRCP which won with the support of Kapus in four districts is neglecting the community. The government is deceiving Kapus by not giving a single nominated post.
