Hyderabad Police on Tuesday nabbed a stone cutter M Ramulu (45) a serial killer for having murdered 18 women since 2003. The man who got hitched at 21-yrs bore grudge against women after his wife had eloped with another man within a short period post marriage. He was allegedly accused in 21 cases which include 16 murder cases and had even been sentenced to life for murder. However, the psycho had once even managed to flee from police custody. According to Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, M Ramulu used to lure single women frequenting toddy compounds for soliciting.
Following the psycho killer’s arrest, the Hyderabad Police were able to solve two cases of women murders relating to Mulugu and Ghatkesar PS of Siddipet and Rachakonda Commissionerate respectively. The North Zone Task Force team nabbed Ramulu for having murdered K Venkatamma (50) at Ankushapur on 30 Dec 2020 and for the murder of an unidentified 35-yr old woman reported being a resident of Balanagar at Mulugu in Siddipet on 10 Dec 2020.
