Adipurush is a 3D action drama based on the epic Ramayana directed by Tanhaji fame Om Raut. The film’s team rolled a much-awaited update on it at 7:11 AM today. The film’s protagonist Prabhas shared a poster revealing the film’s release date which is on 11th August 2022. The title is succeeded with the tagline ‘Celebrating victory of good over evil’.
Young rebel star Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Rama while Saif Ali Khan is donning the role of Lankesh. Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series Films banner. The regular shoot of this Rs.400crore budgeted film will commence in the coming January. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Details about the heroine and the remaining cast will be revealed soon. Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair are acting as co-producers for Adipurush.
