Disputes related to land have increased on a daily basis in Telangana. Even Dharani Portal which was initiated by the TRS government for integrated land records management system has not moved forward. This failure has also led to several lands being encroached. Lands belonging to government, wakf, temple and gurukul trust have also been targeted by the land sharks, alleges BJP, adding that all empty lands are under scanner. Now, the BJP has demanded that a proper investigation be done into the alleged land grab in the state.
Akhila Priya, Praveen Rao issue
The issue related to land disputes came to the fore following the Bowenpally kidnap incident, wherein Praveen Rao and two others were held by kidnappers. This led to an inquiry over who actually owns the land. In this context, the BJP going ahead further said that neither Bhuma Akhila Priya nor Praveen Rao have the rights on the land. While BJP leader NVSS Prabhakar has alleged that KCR’s family is trying to grab the land by producing fake documents. Now, this has led to a twist in the whole issue. On the other hand, the BJP leaders say that since Praveen Rao is a relative of CM KCR, the police immediately swung into action in the case.
Mafia in all sectors
BJP leader NVSS Prabhakar made severe allegations that post the formation of Telangana, the whole state has gone into the hands of Mafia. He even said that the CM peshi turned a hub for sand, land and drug mafia in the state and that the KCR family has eyed lands in Miyapur, Hafeezpet. However, it is to be ascertained as to who owns the land in Hafeezpet.
