Ram Charan started Konidela Production Company to helm films continuously with his father. He joined his hands with Matinee Entertainments Niranjan Reddy to produce Acharya. Blockbuster director Koratala Siva is helming the megaphone for it. While Cherry is playing an extended cameo in it, Kajal Aggarwal is essaying the female lead.
Kajal got her husband Gautham Kitchlu onto the sets of Acharya when she attended the previous schedule. Chiranjeevi welcomed the couple by a grand felicitation and arranged a cake cutting ceremony. Siva shot most of the portions on Chiru and Kajal already and is gearing up for canning the remaining ones in the combination of both of them along with Cherry.
The team is planning to wrap all the Kajal’s scenes in the upcoming schedule in which she is going to join shortly. Acharya is based on the issue of encroachment of endowment lands that happened in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. It is releasing on May 9th.
