If anybody says that being a star son guarantees him success and stardom, it is far from true. Yes, kids from the cine families would get a platform to launch them in the industry. They have to prove themselves and luck has to favor them in order to continue their journey in the tinsel town. There are many star kids who bagged a failure with their debut film and are all set to face the litmus test with the second outing.
Friendly star Srikanth’s son Roshan debuted with Nirmala Convent in 2016 produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Nimmagadda Prasad. Though it was lauded for its novel concept and treatment, Nirmala Convent failed to entice the audience. After four years, Roshan is trying his luck with Pelli SandaD which is the sequel to his father’s super hit Pelli Sandadi. Gowri Ronanki is helming the megaphone for it while legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao is supervising the direction.
Meghamsh Srihari’s first film Rajdooth failed at the box office and he is all set to hit the screens again with Koti Kommachi directed by Satish Vegesna. Meghamsh is sharing the screen space with Sameer Vegesna in this youthful love entertainer. Pelli Choopulu producer Raj Kandukuri introduced his son Shiva Kandukuri with Choosi Choodangane which failed to create any buzz at the box office.
He is currently acting in Manu Charitra and Gamanam and the latter is getting ready for its release. It is directed by Sujana Rao and the plot revolves around a youth who gets troubled in choosing between his love and career. Mega son-in-law Kalyan Dev’s second film Super Machi is getting ready for its release shortly. His first film Vijetha flopped miserably and Kalyan is confident that his second film will establish him as a star. Rhea Chakroborty and Rachita Ram are playing the female leads in this Puli Vasu directorial.
TLN wishes all the very best to these young guns!
