In a piece of good news for all cricket lovers, the IPL 2021 auction is all set be held next month. This year the T20 extravaganza promises to transport sports fans to the next world, as the 14th edition of IPL will witness some new changes. The IPL T20 cricket league organizers took to Twitter to announce that the auction would be held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on February 18.
Among the franchises, King’s XI Punjab will enter the auction with the highest purse of a whopping ₹53.20 crore, followed by Rajasthan Royals – ₹34.85 crore, Royal Challengers Bangalore – ₹35.70 crore, Chennai Super Kings – ₹22.90 crore, Mumbai Indians – ₹15.35 crore, Delhi Capitals – ₹12.80 crore, Kolkata Knight Riders – ₹10.85 crore and Sunrisers Hyderabad – ₹10.75 crore.
