On Wednesday midnight, a major fire mishap occurred at Sun Leo of Paramount Agro Industries in Gajuwaka’s Aganampudi area located at the APIIC Industrial Park, Visakhapatnam. As thick plumes of smoke engulfed the area, the panicked localites ran out of their homes. Luckily, there were no casualties reported in the incident as the employees were not present at the time. Two fire tenders were immediately pressed into action by the Duvvada Police to control the flames and the situation was brought into control. However, the loss of property is yet to be ascertained.
The Agro Industries firm which has been in operation in the city for twenty years, deals with the packaging of Edible Oil (Refined Sunflower Oil, Palmolein Oil, Vegetable Oil and Ground Nut Oil).
