In AP, 30,964 samples were tested over a one-day period and 1,184 were diagnosed for Coronavirus. The highest number of 352 cases was reported in Guntur district and the lowest was 19 in West Godavari district. The details were revealed in a bulletin by the state medical health department. With this, the number of corona cases registered so far in the state has reached 9,01,989. Four died while receiving treatment for Coronavirus within 24 hours. Three were killed in Chittoor district and one in Nellore district. The death toll due to Covid in the state has risen to 7,217. With 456 people fully recovering from Corona in a single day, there are currently 7,338 active cases in the AP. The government said in the bulletin that 1,50,83,179 samples have been tested so far across the state.
