The TRS party has taken the upcoming Dubbaka by-elections, Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda MLC graduates constituency elections and the GHMC elections very seriously. The politics in Telangana has also heated up with all parties not sparing any effort. On one side, it seems there is a growing resentment among the public towards the TRS, the BJP and Congress are trying their best to utilize the situation and lure the voters to their side. In other words, chances are low for the TRS to register a landslide win, given the present scenario.
High stakes for Dubbaka by-elections
TRS, BJP and the Congress have taken the political rivalry to the next level to win the Dubbaka by-elections. The TRS is even toiling for a win in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda MLC graduates constituency elections with TRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy appearing the favourite to continue in the post. It will not be easy for Palla Rajeshwar Reddy to compete this time, as graduates are reluctant to vote for the ruling TRS. Even the opposition parties are hell-bent on roping in potential candidates and defeat the TRS.
Though all candidates have not been finalised yet, M Kodandaram of the Telangana Jana Samithi, Professor K Nageshwar and Chintapandu Naveen Kumar also known as Teenmar Mallana are in the fray for MLC polls. It is learnt that the Communist parties might back M Kodandaram while Professor K Nageshwar garners support from the Congress party. This has led to the TRS expressing doubts over their winning chances. In this regard, Warangal legislator Errabelli Dayakar Rao had recently helmed a meeting with ruling party leaders. TRS Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhasker, Former Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari, MPs Banda Prakash and Pasunuri Dayakar are trying their best for TRS’ win in the MLC polls.
