Pan Indian Star Prabhas’s Adipurush finally started rolling in Mumbai. Om Raut of Tanhaji fame is directing this 3D epic thriller which is based on Ramayan. Prabhas is playing Lord Rama in it whereas Kriti Sanon is essaying the role of Sita.
Saif Ali Khan is roped in to play Ravan’s role which attracted a lot of criticism. Yesteryear’s Dreamgirl Hema Malini is booked for an important character in Adipurush. Though Raut considered a young Kollywood hero for Lakshman’s role initially, it has finally reached the stable of Tiger Shroff.
T-Series is producing Adipurush with an exorbitant budget of Rs.500crores. Raut has announced that the team is going to release the film on 11th August 2022.
