Allari Naresh filled the shoes of Rajendra Prasad with his stream of never ending comedy flicks. Monotonous jokes and slapstick comedy made his fans avoid Naresh’s movies lately and now he is desperately in need of a hit.
Naresh is trying his luck with a serious role in his upcoming film titled Naandi in which he is playing the role of a wrongfully indicted prisoner. It is directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and made under SV2 Entertainments banner by Satish Vegesna. Naresh essayed a supporting character in Maharshi earlier that earned him rave reviews from industry as well as audience.
Naandi is the 57th outing of Allari Naresh that has Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Navami, Priyadarsi, Praveen, Devi Prasad and Srikanth Iyengar playing important roles. The teaser which was released a while ago showed Naresh in a never-seen-before avatar. He even went nude for a scene in it. The makers announced the completion of shoot recently and also revealed that Naandi will release on OTT. Let’s hope this film becomes the stepping stone for success for Allari Naresh.
